Privacy Policy

Matchday Live (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is the football scores and live match app published on the App Store (Bundle ID: com.matchday.live). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

• Profile & settings — username, email (if provided), language, appearance, notification preferences, and favorite teams or competitions. Stored on your device and optionally synced with iCloud if enabled.
• Subscriptions — Premium status is processed by Apple In-App Purchase. We do not receive payment card details.
• Device & usage — standard iOS diagnostics and advertising identifiers when ads are shown (see Section 3).
• Biometrics — Face ID / Touch ID is handled by iOS. We do not store biometric data.

2. Football content

Live scores, fixtures, standings, and statistics may be retrieved from third-party sports data providers. Network requests may include generic technical information required to deliver content. We do not share your profile data with these providers except as needed to perform requests.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Free users may see ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers, IP address, and ad interaction data under the Google Privacy Policy. Premium subscribers do not see ads.

Limit ad tracking on iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

4. In-App Purchases

Monthly, yearly, and lifetime Premium plans are billed by Apple. Purchase validation uses Apple StoreKit. See the Apple Privacy Policy.

5. Notifications

If enabled, we send match alerts you configure (goals, kickoff, full time, etc.) through Apple’s notification services. You can disable notifications in the app or in iOS Settings.

6. Storage & security

• Preferences are stored on-device.
• Sensitive values may use the iOS Keychain.
• App Lock may use Face ID or Touch ID through Apple LocalAuthentication.

7. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Data may be processed by:

• Apple (App Store, subscriptions, iCloud)
• Google (AdMob, for free users)
• Sports data API providers (match content)
• Authorities when required by law

8. Children

Matchday Live is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your rights

Delete local app data by removing the app from your device. Manage subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
